Do you capitalize the “B” in Black?
Because you most certainly should when you’re referring to my people. We aren’t a crayon color to add dimension to your white view. We are an expansive diaspora that have been abused and disrespected for centuries. This simple change when writing/typing signifies a proper noun as opposed to a pigment color and is a tiny way you can uplift us.
While you’re at it, keep the “w” in white lowercase. No more power is needed there.
Will you make a conscious effort to modify your grammatical choices?
