Are you a fake follower?

The type who only followed Black people in June because a list tagged us then tried to sneakily unfollow when BLM wasn’t “trending” anymore? We see you and we don’t want you in our spaces. You didn’t bother to engage with us, you made a BLM highlight on your page and joined a book club then went back to holding all the power. 

If you fall into that category, while also refusing to stand up for my people, get out. Losing followers for challenging those in power is a delight because it’s like the trash is taking itself out. ??

Anyone understand why white people do this? (And assume we don’t notice/won’t call it out?)
