Can joy & truth coexist?

This is my style account, a place I share one of my passions. Inspiring others with the way I express myself brings me joy, but I’m also glad to insert some much needed representation in this very white space. Clothes can seem frivolous to some, and I know overconsumption is a definite problem. But our clothing choices contain power as well. Who we support, who supports us, it is all connected like the threads woven within the seams.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

In addition to looks, I plan to address social issues on a more consistent basis, especially in regards to my people. No one prompted me to do so, this just feels like the right thing to do. I am inspired by my fam not letting fear stop them from standing up for what’s right time and time again.
