Everlane is one of the most well known (and affordable) ethical brands out there. Though popular for their basics, they never cease to surprise me with fun items each season. I fell in love when I saw this particular print of the Cocoon Coat so I had to pick it up (plus I was in need of a warmer coat for the early winter that hit MI back in November.) Despite being the thinnest wool coat I have, it is still very warm. I also appreciate that it is lined with cotton as opposed to the satin of many others which cuts down on static considerably. As for sizing, trust the reviews! There’s a consensus on this running much larger than usual so I sized down to a 6 (I’m a L.) It fits very well and still allows adequate room for layering for the cold winter months. This was definitely an investment at $265 but I haven’t regretted it one bit this winter.
