Though I nabbed these Veronica Combat boots impulsively for 60% off on Black Friday, I don’t feel guilty at all that I did! I ordered my usual 9.5 and they fit comfortably with a not-too-thick boot sock, so I would suggest ordering your normal size. This is such a nice neutral red called ‘red clay’ but could also be referred to as brick. I find these boots work best with cropped pants/jeans (or cuffed slim leg.) But if you’re partial to skinny jeans or leggings, these would look great with those as well. I love pairing this color with neutrals such as cream, black, and white and especially enjoy matching an item on top to them (I’ve worn a tee here, but I also have a rust scarf that complements them well.)
