Spring Jackets

Mixed

CLASSIC

Beige Trench

I’ve seen this particular style of jacket on so many different individuals with varying styles. It’s a classic for sure and because of the neutral hue, goes with so much. I picked this up last year at a vintage store in Minneapolis and really love the removable wool lining that can make this even warmer.

PRACTICAL

Cream Anorak

Sometimes it’s not too cold out but there’s still a chance of rain. If you’re not the hoodie type like me, try out a thin anorak like this. It goes with everything and is easy to fold up for traveling. I found this at Goodwill a few years back.

ARTSY

Black & White Grid

Sometimes you just want to WOW with your outerwear, and this fun Marimekko one does just that. Grid is my favorite print and this is a nice weight canvas for the still remaining chilly days. I recommend checking out Garmentory for unique pieces like this one.

BUSINESS

Dark Denim Blazer

This is basically the love child of a denim jacket and a blazer which I also found secondhand. I like the typical blazer shape in the unexpected, yet match-everything indigo denim.

UNIQUE

Drapey Robe

I’ve been on the hunt for a lightweight white jacket for some time, and this vintage pick nails it. It’s a S/M so doesn’t completely fit over the girls, but I like it, and can still access the pockets easily. (Also kudos to Soleil Collective for NOT calling this a kimono!)

STATEMENT

Rust Flared

I LOVE this jacket!! The color, the shape, the quilt-work!! I find it to be so flattering and just really different compared to all of my other jackets (which is a nice change.) I found this from the local black-owned Detroit brand Amazing Apparel 2.
