Been wanting some bold frames since cutting my hair and looked at my usual suspects. None of the other brands really stood out to me and the custom consulting options weren’t in my budget. Then I remembered the eyewear brand in my own backyard. I love the circular mission of Genusee and their training opportunities for returning citizens. A couple years back, I only saw dark colors and thought the size would be too small for my face. I looked again recently, saw this lovely speckled light grey color, and rechecked the measurements (which seemed close to other pairs I have.) Turns out they look great and add some fun while complimenting my hair. Glad to support not only a local, woman owned business, but one in my own place of birth.
